Revitalise with toniq
A weekend of world-class dancing, personal renewal and vibrant community. Discover why Melbourne’s West Coast Swing scene is ready to Revitalise.
Why 'Revitalise'?
West Coast Swing in Melbourne has taken off again recently, thanks to the persistent efforts of WCS Melbourne's Chris & Jacqui; before them Generation Swing's Kim with Nick & Rachael, & West Coast Swing Thursdays's Kevin, Kim, Nick & Ali; &, earlier again, Precision Swing's Tristan with Anjelika... supported by incredible crews of teachers, DJs, social coordinators & community ambassadors along the way.
Reinvigorated by the growing community, former Crave Movement Melbourne Principal, Janine, & Third Foot Dance Academy Principal, Brady, were inspired to launch toniq dance.
Now between West Coast Swing Melbourne, toniq dance, Li'Rann Dance, Destine Dance & Motiv8 Dance, we are delighted to be able to dance West Coast up to 6 days a week across Melbourne.
It's time!
The 'scene' here is revitalised. - It's time to revitalise an Event in Melbourne!

Community Values
We Value Diversity & Respect!
Every individual should feel respected, empowered & comfortable bringing their authentic whole selves to 'Revitalise WCS' (the Event), where we expect they will make it easy for others to feel the same. Of course.
We are committed to intentional inclusivity with regard to the attributes which make people unique & wonderful.
We should all feel physically, psychologically & culturally safe & enabled to thrive, & share a sense of joy, community & belonging as we dance, teach (if we are hired to do so) &/or learn to dance, as well as doing other work, on the sidelines & in related social settings.
Each of us has a role to play in fostering a safe Dance environment & a safe community.
At all times, you are primarily responsible for your own safety, fitness to participate, health & well-being, & you share a responsibility for the consideration of others. Your good judgement & care are expected; however, staff discretion may be enforced in case of perceived hazardous, risky, antisocial or unwelcome behaviour, or in case of emergency.
Please be mindful of your interactions with others; mindful of each other’s safety, abilities, sensitivities & comfort levels, & those of the people around you. Note that a person’s capability, confidence & boundaries may vary from time to time or situationally. Seek agreement / ensure consent in your interactions on & off of the dancefloor. Honour boundaries.
Please speak up.
We all deserve to be safe, feel safe, & feel treated with dignity, courtesy & respect. If you feel otherwise, or if you perceive intolerance, insensitivity, disrespect, discrimination, harassment, bullying, violence, victimisation or other antisocial or unwelcome behaviours at or associated with the Event, please speak up.
Lead, Follow & Switch
Look for wristbands identifying your fellow Dancers as willing to lead, follow or switch. Please respect their preferences, as you would like them to respect yours.
