Benji Schwimmer: From Hollywood to Melbourne
SYTYCD winner and 14x US Open Champion Benji Schwimmer joins Revitalise 2025. A true icon, on and off the floor.
Winner of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ (Season 2; 2006), “America’s favorite dancer” Benji Schwimmer is heralded as “one of the most decorated competitive Dancers ever” by ‘Entertainment Weekly’ & the “second coming of Fred Astaire” by NBC News. He is the only Dancer to have won 14x US Open Championships, with 4 separate partners, never defeated in a routine Division!
Dancer, choreographer, actor & director, Benji's work can be seen on American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, X-Factor, America’s Got Talent and World of Dance. Clients include Adele, Brad Paisley, Christina Aguilera (Candyman), Demi Lovato, Ellen, Brady & Janine Stanton, Iggy Azalea, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rippa, LeAnn Rimes (Swingin’ & LovE is LovE is LovE), Paula Abdul & Miley Cyrus.
Benji appeared on TVs ‘Full House’, among other TV credits. He starred in feature films ‘Love N’ Dancing’ & ‘Leading Ladies’. And, he co-choreographed Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt & Australia’s Margot Robbie!
Benji has also choreographed for figure (ice) skaters, including the short program of American figure skater Jeremy Abbott, first performed at the 2011 Cup of China, as well as for multiple Winter Olympics; several times for Olympian Adam Rippon.

Brother to ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Professional Dancer Lacey Schwimmer, 4th Place in SYTYCD Season 3. Co-owner of The Dance Center (studio) in Redlands, California. Founder of D.E.M.A.N.D (Dancers Everywhere Making a Needed Difference) - a non-profit organisation supporting the less fortunate and providing health care for dancers with HIV/AIDS and other illness… Benji’s Dance Pedigree, his experience, numerous accolades & appreciation for the many facets of the Dance Industry - including studio ownership / teaching local classes - are second to none.
